The Connect tab links your App with other systems, both ways: they can read and write its records through its API, and your App can call them when records change. It has five parts: API keys, Connections, Calls made, the API reference and AI agents. Only administrators set up keys and connections.
A key belongs to this App only and can be revoked at any time; a revoked key stays revoked. Each key may make up to 120 calls a minute.
Only public internet addresses are allowed; addresses inside your network are refused.
The latest calls to your connections, with their result. A call that fails is tried again after 1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 12 hours; you can also try it again by hand.
Everything a developer needs, generated from your App: authentication, each table's endpoints (list, create, read, change, delete), examples in cURL, JavaScript and PHP, the JSON that comes back, the error format, and ready-to-use code to check the signature of your App's calls in PHP or Node.js. Filter it by table, method or field; each table opens on its own, and every example has a copy button.
Switch on Available to AI agents and connections to give the App's skills to the workspace's agents and to the AI you connect from the Agents App (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok). It is off until you switch it on. The App then offers seven skills, named after it (for example fleet_list):
An AI never gets more than the person it works for: each skill follows the roles set in Settings → Access, table by table. What an AI may change also depends on how its connection was set up in the Agents App: read only, ask first, or act directly. Connections that may use everything get the skills at once; a connection limited to chosen tools needs them ticked.
