Assets
The Assets tab holds your App's own files, in folders: pictures and drawings for documents and screenshots, and the stylesheets, scripts, fonts and data files your screens use.
Adding and organising files
- Drop files from your computer anywhere in the tab, or use the upload button.
- Create folders and drag files into them. Only an empty folder can be deleted.
- Switch between icons and a list; click a file to see its details: its link, whether it is in use, and where it loads.
Kinds of files
- Pictures: PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, up to 2 MB.
- Vector drawings: SVG, up to 1 MB. They are cleaned on upload: anything that could run or load something from elsewhere is removed.
- Stylesheets (CSS) and scripts (JS), up to 512 KB.
- Fonts: WOFF, WOFF2, TTF, OTF, up to 1 MB.
- Data: JSON and XML, up to 1 MB.
Every file is checked to really be what its name says. An App holds up to 50 files.
Stylesheets and scripts
A stylesheet or script is off when it arrives. An administrator switches it on and chooses the screens it loads on.
Where files are used
- As backgrounds and pictures of printable documents.
- As the App's screenshots (Settings → General).
- On the screens you choose (stylesheets, scripts, fonts).
Files are served only to people who may open the App.
