Pages flow

The Pages flow tab decides which page each button opens. Pages are boxes on a canvas; a lace goes from a button of one page to the page it opens.

How to use it

1. Drag the pages you need onto the canvas.
2. Pull a lace from a button of a list (or from After saving of a form) to the page it should open.
3. Click Save.

What each button may open

• Add, Edit and Clone open a form (a page of its own) or a modal (a window over the list).
• View opens a record page, or a form or modal shown read-only.
• Chart opens a report.
• Delete needs no page.
• After saving (on a form) goes to a data table, a form or a report.

Good to know

• A list shows only the buttons its table offers (set in the Data tab) and that the person's role allows.
• A modal keeps people on the list; a form is better for long records.
• When you remove a page, the laces to it go with it.
