Pages design
The Pages design tab is where you arrange the screens of your App. The list of pages is on the left; the selected page's designer on the right.
Finding your pages
Type in Find a page to filter by name, type or table; every word must match. Esc clears it.
Click the pin on a page to keep it at the top under Pinned. Your pins are yours alone and stay between visits.
Add a page with +; remove one with the bin.
Kinds of pages
Data table (list): drag fields into its columns and its filters (choices, yes / no and links can be filters). Choose All at once for short lists or Page by page for long ones. Lists come with search, sorting, export and a phone layout.
Form (a page of its own) and Modal (a window over the list): cards with one to three columns; drag fields into place. Show the cards one after the other, as numbered steps, or all at once three or more cards then show as tabs. A card can hold a table of lines, for example the products of an order.
Record page: the record's details, then its related lists (records of other tables that point at it), comments and history.
Board: cards per stage of a status field; drag a card to move it to the next stage.
Calendar: records on a calendar by a date field, coloured by a choice.
Report: named charts (bars, lines, pies and more), counting or adding up per field.
Dashboard: tiles with counts and totals.
Print buttons
On a list, a form, a modal or a record page, the Print buttons section lists the documents of that table. Tick where they print from: on each row, for several rows at once, in the form, or on the record page. Design the documents themselves in the Documents tab.
In the App
Next to every field that links to another list, a [+] button lets people add the missing record a new supplier, a new product without leaving the form. It is chosen for them as soon as it is saved.
Click Save the pages to keep your changes, and Preview to see the App as your team will.
