What is NIZU Sign?
NIZU Sign is the electronic signature App of NIZU WorkSpace. It lets a company send any PDF a contract, a proposal, an estimate, an NDA, an HR document to be signed online, follow who has signed, and keep the signed copy together with its proof, without leaving NIZU and without a separate e-signature subscription.
What NIZU Sign keeps as proof of each signature.
What it does
Sends documents for signature to one or more people, one after the other or all at once, with a message and a date to sign before.
Lets anyone sign from a phone: people outside the company open a link, confirm it is them with a one-time code sent by email, read the document, draw or type their signature and sign. Team members and clients sign inside NIZU with their two-factor code.
Places the signatures where they belong: signature, initials, date, text and checkbox fields are placed on the pages by drag and drop.
Keeps proof of everything: every step (sent, opened, code confirmed, signed) is written to a history in which each line is chained to the one before it, so a change made later shows.
Produces the signed PDF and a certificate of completion that records who signed, when, from where and how they confirmed their identity, issued by NIZU OÜ.
Adds an independent timestamp (RFC 3161) from a public timestamp authority, so the date and the integrity of the signed document can be proven by a third party.
Lets anyone check a signed PDF on a public page: the file is checked on the visitor's device, only its fingerprint is sent.
Is a NIZU Sign signature legally valid?
NIZU Sign creates simple electronic signatures under the European eIDAS Regulation (EU 910/2014). Under eIDAS, an electronic signature cannot be refused as evidence just because it is electronic. Simple electronic signatures are used every day for sales contracts, proposals, quotes, NDAs, purchase orders and most HR documents. The certificate of completion, the chained history and the independent timestamp support the signature if it is ever questioned. Some documents (for example notarial deeds) need a qualified electronic signature, which NIZU Sign does not provide.
Who it is for
Small and medium-sized companies that already run their projects, clients, invoices and team in NIZU WorkSpace and want their contracts and quotes signed in the same place, in the same look, without paying per envelope to an outside service.
Where the data lives
Each NIZU WorkSpace has its own database. The documents, the signatures and the history stay in your workspace, encrypted on disk, in the EU.
