Click Organigram in the left sidebar. The editor opens with a list of your active staff on the left and an empty canvas on the right.
From the staff list on the left, drag a person onto the canvas and drop them where you want their card to sit. You can also double-click a person, or click the + button next to their name, to drop them onto the canvas automatically. Use the search box to find someone quickly. People already on the chart disappear from the list, so the list always shows who is left to place.
Each card has a small connection dot on the top and bottom edges. To set a reporting line, drag from the bottom dot of the supervisor to the top dot of the employee. An arrow appears showing that the employee reports to that supervisor. Each person can have one supervisor; drawing a new line replaces the old one. The editor prevents loops (you cannot make someone report to their own subordinate).
Toggle Show teams in the toolbar to display each person's team(s) as colored tags on their card. Team membership is read live from the Teams module, so the tags always match your current teams. A color legend appears below the chart.
Give the chart a title if you like, then click Save. Your layout (positions and reporting lines) is stored. Use Fit at any time to zoom the whole chart back into view.
Any staff member can open their own profile and click the Organigram tab. They see the company chart in read-only mode with their own card highlighted in blue and their direct supervisor highlighted in orange, so they instantly understand where they fit and who they report to. They can pan and zoom, but cannot change the chart.
When a staff member is deactivated, they are automatically removed from the chart the next time it loads, and anyone who reported to them is reconnected to the next supervisor up the line, so the hierarchy stays whole. New photos, renamed people and team changes also appear automatically — you never have to rebuild the chart because someone changed.
