You can only start a timer on tasks that are associated with a project. In Agile workflows, tickets that represent standalone bugs do not support timesheets or time tracking by default.

If you need to track time and earn points, the work must be handled within a project context.

This usually means creating or moving the task into a project and ensuring it is properly defined there before starting the timer.
