Clients and leads answer a proposal from the public link without logging in, or from the client portal: Accept with name, e-mail and an optional signature, or Reject.
How your client accepts or rejects a proposal
A proposal is usually sent to a lead who has no login yet, so the answer happens on a public page: the client reads the proposal and clicks Accept or Reject. You see when they open it and you are notified when they answer.
From the public link
The link in your e-mail (or the one you copied with Copy public link) opens the proposal with your logo. The client can Print it, Download PDF, and answer:
Accept asks for Name and Email and, when Add signature option on accepting proposal is on, a drawn Signature. The page then says "Proposal accepted".
Reject records the answer with one click: "Proposal rejected".
From the client portal
A client contact who logs in finds it under Proposals, shown as New, with Mark as Accepted and Mark as Rejected (with the signature box when the setting is on), Print, Download PDF and, when switched on, comments.
What you see
Last email seen, Email seen count and Last preview seen tell you when the proposal was opened, with a notification each time.
When the client answers, the status becomes Accepted or Declined and you are notified.
The Signer info card shows who accepted, their e-mail, the date and the signature.
You can correct the status yourself in the Proposal info menu: Mark as Accepted, Mark as Rejected, Mark as Sent.
A signature with full evidence: NIZU Sign
For a signature with an audit trail and timestamp, install NIZU Sign and switch on Proposals in Settings → NIZU Sign. The proposal page then shows a NIZU Sign card with Send for signature. When everyone has signed, the proposal is marked Accepted for you.
Good to know
The public link works as soon as the proposal exists, even as a draft. Share it only when the proposal is final.
Accepting a proposal does not turn a lead into a client. Convert the lead from the Leads page when you are ready.
