Start every proposal from a template: copy one of the ready-made templates, adapt it to your business, set it as default, and let variables fill in the client, your company and the price table.
Proposal templates and variables
A template is the skeleton of your proposals: your sections, your wording, your terms. Write it once, and every new proposal starts from it with the client's name, your company details and the price table filled in by variables.
Create a template
Go to Settings → Proposals and open the Proposal templates tab. (Only administrators can manage templates.)
Click Add proposal template.
In Use template from, choose a starting point:
Your templates: copy one you already have.
Ready-made: IT Consulting, Cloud Infrastructure, IT Support Services, DevOps, Software Development, Cybersecurity, Business Consulting, Branding, Graphic Design, AI Consulting, Logistics and Shipping, Real Estate, Events, Warehousing, Marketing, Coaching, Sports Coaching, Tendering Services and Repair Services.
Give it a Title (a ready-made template fills it in for you) and save.
Click the template in the list to open it in the editor, adapt the text to your business and click Save.
Every ready-made template has the same strong structure: a cover, the proposal details, an executive summary, the client's needs, your approach, deliverables, the investment (the price table), a timeline, why your company, terms, next steps and the validity date.
Use a template
Automatically: choose it as Default proposal template in the Proposal settings tab. Every new proposal starts with it.
For one proposal: click Change template under the proposal's editor. The template replaces the current text, so do this first.
Variables
Variables are tags in curly brackets. In the proposal they are replaced by the real values. The list is shown under the editor as Available variables; click one to copy it.
