GitHub connection: connect your whole GitHub organisation with a key of your own, in Settings → Connections → Developers. When you create a Software Development or Infrastructure project you can pick one of your repositories, or create a new one, and the project gets its own GitHub board. Its tasks appear there as issues, its milestones as GitHub milestones, and team members who have their GitHub profile in their Social links are invited to the repository.
GitHub connection: every pull request finds its task. Write "Task #123" in it, name the branch task-123, or mention the issue of the task. When a pull request names no task, its author is asked on GitHub and gets a notification, and the pull request waits in the project's new GitHub tab until someone links it. A task shows its pull requests, and you can link one from there.
GitHub connection: tasks and GitHub stay in step. Closing an issue finishes its task, reopening it reopens the task, and a merged pull request finishes its task. Finishing a task in NIZU closes its issue and moves it on the board.
WhatsApp App: more you can do on a task from its alert. Reply "start" (or "on it", "bezig", "en cours"…) when you begin and it moves to in progress; reply "reopen" to open a finished task again; reply the name of one of your priorities ("Urgent", "priority: high") to set it. Your team is told, just as from the task screen, and the same rights apply.
WhatsApp App: internal notes on tickets from your phone. Start your reply to a ticket alert with "note:" ("notitie:", "nota:", "Notiz:"…) and it is saved as an internal note: your team sees it on the ticket, the client does not, and the ticket's status stays as it was. A photo with a "note:" caption is attached to the note.
WhatsApp App: sales alerts worth reading on your phone. When you switch on alerts such as "estimate accepted", "proposal commented", "contract accepted" or "payment received" (WhatsApp → Settings → Notifications), the message now shows the document's number, the client, the amount and where it stands the client's comment quoted with a link to open it. Reply to an estimate or proposal alert and your answer is added to its discussion, which the client sees too. You need the right to manage that estimate or proposal.
WhatsApp App: task checklists from your phone. Task alerts now show the task's checklist, numbered. Reply "checklist:" followed by one item per line to add them ("checklist: order cables"), "check 2" to tick the second item and "uncheck 2" to undo it you are told how many are left. Works in every language of the app; you need the right to edit the task.
WhatsApp App: orders from your phone. When you switch on the "new order received" alert, it shows what was ordered, the client, the total and the order's status, with a link and lists your order statuses. Reply with one of them ("Shipped", "status: confirmed") and the order moves there; the client is told, just as when you change it on the order screen. You need full access to orders.
WhatsApp App: "undo". Tapped the wrong reply? Answer "undo" (or "ongedaan maken", "annuler", "rückgängig"…) to the confirmation and the change is put back: a task marked done, moved, handed over, its priority or checklist; a ticket closed, reopened or handed over; a lead or an order moved. It works once per change, within a day, and only with the same rights as the change itself.
Updates
Infrastructure projects now have a Repository URL field, like Software Development projects.
