When another tool is the better choice

  • You need purchase orders, goods receipt and three-way matching. The Providers App stores a PO reference but has no procurement workflow. Odoo Purchase or a dedicated procurement tool fits better.
  • You issue corporate cards or want the bank to pay bills from the tool. Ramp and Payhawk are built around cards and payments; NIZU records the expense, it does not move the money.
  • Your accountant files directly from the accounting package. Exact Online, Odoo Accounting or Zoho Books produce the return itself; the Providers App prepares the figures and leaves filing to the accountant.

When the Providers App is the better choice

  • Your team already lives in NIZU. Projects, tasks, invoices and expenses are there; adding a supplier layer costs no extra licence, no integration and no second login.
  • You want the accountant's questions answered on one screen: input VAT per rate and treatment, the supplier's tax identity, and which deductions lack an invoice.
  • You import bank statements and need to add VAT to dozens of expenses at once, with a preview, instead of one by one.
  • You are in Belgium and want the return grids, the category caps and the Peppol 2026 rule applied without configuration.
  • Data must stay in your own database. Each NIZU workspace is isolated; supplier data never leaves it.
