Club Events Management does not duplicate functionality that already exists in NIZU Cloud WorkSpace. Instead, it connects directly to these core modules:
Every event is linked to an Item of type "Event tickets". The item holds the ticket's price, its available stock, and up to four guest "choice" options (for example a meal or table selection). Club Events reads and updates this item rather than keeping its own catalog.
Ticket sales happen through NIZU's normal Store checkout. When a client completes an order for an event's linked item, the order creates one ticket row per unit purchased, which then appears in the event's guest list. Each ticket links back to its order.
Once an order's invoice is generated, the invoice is linked back to each of that order's tickets, so a ticket's guest list entry can be traced to the invoice that paid for it.
Complimentary (free) tickets are always issued to an existing client record. Each ticket in the guest list links to the client it was sold or given to.
An event can optionally be linked to a Project, so the planning, tasks and budget around organizing the event can be tracked in Project Management while Club Events Management stays focused on tickets and attendees.
Club Events adds its own set of permissions (view/create/edit events, view/edit/scan tickets, issue free tickets) to the role editor in Team Management > Roles, so access can be granted per role like any other module in NIZU Cloud.
