How to install Statements Import

Statements Import is a NIZU Cloud app. Installing it takes a few seconds.

Installation steps

1. Go to Settings.
2. Open Apps.
3. Search for Bank Statements Import.
4. Click Install.
5. Click Activate.

Activating the app creates its tables in your WorkSpace database and adds a Bank Statements Import entry to the left sidebar.

After activation: two quick setup steps

Before your first import, prepare the two building blocks the app needs:

1. Bank Accounts — open Statements Import → Bank Accounts and attach an IBAN (and optionally a bank name and a default template) to the payment method that represents your bank account.
2. Map Templates — open Statements Import → Map Templates → Build a template, upload a sample statement, and map each column.

Permissions

Grant staff access from Settings → Roles. Statements Import adds these permissions: view imports & transactions, upload & parse statements, reconcile (confirm/reverse payments), manage bank accounts & map templates, and access settings. Administrators have full access automatically.

Requirements

The app relies only on features already present in NIZU Cloud (invoicing, expenses, payment methods) and the platform's bundled spreadsheet reader for XLSX files. No external service or API key is required.
