Crudy is a NIZU Cloud app, so installing it takes just a few clicks inside your workspace. After it is active, you add a database connection and install the agent on your own server.
Once activated, Crudy appears in your workspace navigation, and the database tables it needs (connections, audit log, trash, views and so on) are created automatically.
Administrators always have access to Crudy. To let other team members use it, open your role and permission settings and enable the Crudy permissions you want for each role — for example browsing databases, creating, updating or deleting records, and viewing the audit log or trash. You can also restrict each individual connection to specific teams and members when you create it.
Crudy reaches your database through a small agent that runs on your database server. After the app is active:
The connection modal contains everything you need — the token, the download links for each architecture, and the ready-to-paste commands — so you can complete the whole setup from one screen.
With the app active and an agent online, open Crudy from the navigation, pick your connection, and start browsing.
