GitHub Integration

GitHub & Tasks

You can integrate GitHub in order to link your developers tasks with the ERP, this can help the developers and project managers to track the progress and save time reporting in NIZU what they are doing or wasting valuable time updating the task status.

Step 1

Generate a new Token in the Developers Settings COPY & PASTE the generated token in a safe place, you won't be able to see it again

Step 2

Ensure that all developers have their GitHub profile register in their Social Links:

Step 3

Open the GitHub repository you want to integrate with this WorkSpace: Then Follow these steps:

Settings

WebHooks

Add WebHook

Payload URL: https://api.nizu.io/v2/?agent=github&token= add the generated token from STEP 1 at the end of this URL

Content type: application/json

Which events would you like to trigger this WebHook?

Just the push event (Only for the tasks comments).
Send me everything (For Tasks and Projects Comments).

How it works

Once the WebHook is set up, NIZU will receive events from your GitHub repository and process them accordingly.

For tasks comments, the developer needs to add in the commit message Task #[task ID].
For project comments, the developer needs to add in the merge message Project #[project ID].
