Uptime Monitor: watch database servers. When you add a monitor, pick what it is: any server or website, MariaDB, MySQL or MongoDB. A database server is then checked to make sure the database itself answers, not only that the machine is on.
Uptime Monitor: a database checked from outside is asked in its own language, with no password. You are alerted when it stops answering, turns everyone away because it has too many connections, blocks the workspace, or (MongoDB) loses its primary.
Uptime Monitor: on a machine with the agent, the database gets its own place in the diagnosis: whether it answers, its version, connections against its limit, queries per second, slow queries, replication and its delay, and the memory cache. Two new charts show its connections and queries per second, and the timeline records when it stopped, restarted, was upgraded or when replication stopped. No database password is stored in the workspace.
Updates
Uptime Monitor: a new version of the agent (2.1.0). To start watching the database on a machine you already monitor, mark it as a database server and run the install command from its Agent tab again.
