Live 3D
Live 3D shows one of your sites as a 3D scene you can turn and zoom like a game: the container stacks with every container and ISO tank in its own slot, the storage tanks filled up to their level, the halls, the gate, the trucks expected today and the reach stacker. It follows the operation as it happens: when a unit is gated in, a truck drives it from the road to its slot; when one is moved, the reach stacker carries it; when it is gated out, it leaves. Over the scene sit the shift figures, truck tracking and an attention list. It is a control-room and duty-manager screen: one look tells you how full the yard is, which trucks are on their way or at the gate, and which units or tanks need someone.
Where to find it: Workspace → Logistics → Warehouse → Live 3D (it opens your first site), or the Live 3D button on a site's page (it opens that site). When you have no site yet, the menu entry takes you to Sites.
Who can use it
Anyone with View sites, the live yard, units, tanks and movements can open it.
Nothing can be changed from this screen. Open the details opens the same cards as everywhere else, with their own buttons, and those buttons follow your normal permissions (gate, move, tank operations).
Where it sits in the operation
Live 3D does not keep its own data. It reads the site's yard plan (zones, slots, placed tanks) once when the page opens, then listens to the movement ledger of that site: every gate in, gate out, yard move and tank receipt, delivery or transfer booked on the Units, Storage tanks, Scan or gate screens. New movements are fetched at the live refresh interval and replayed as animations; the figures and lists are recalculated after each batch of movements and in any case every 30 seconds. Polling pauses while the browser tab is hidden.
Figure 1 Live 3D is a view on the movement ledger: what the gate and yard book appears within one refresh interval, and every change you make from a card goes back through the ledger.
What you see
At the top: the site (click it to switch to another site), the search box (Search units, tanks, trucks, zones…), and Live with the time on your device's clock.
The figures:
Units in the yard, with how many came in and went out today (in / out today, counted from the workspace's midnight).
Trucks today, and how many are at the gate. Filled when the Transport module is on.
Tank farm fill: the total level of the site's storage tanks against their total capacity, with the number of tanks.
Yard occupancy: units on site against the slot capacity of the container stacks (bays × rows × stack height, as on the Sites list).
Pins on the scene: a red hand for a unit on hold; red for a damaged unit; orange for a unit whose test has expired (2.5-year, 5-year or CSC); red for a storage tank within 3 percentage points of its safe fill limit (95% when none is set). Each tank carries a tag with its code and how full it is.
Truck tracking (bottom left): where a truck's trip stands Planned, Sent to driver, On the road, At the gate, Done with the time each stage was reached and the ETA (the planned time of the stop). It shows the truck at the gate, or the next one expected; click a truck to follow that one. Without trucks today it says No trucks expected today.
The list (bottom right), with three tabs, each with its count: Gate (today's trucks, pick-up or delivery, with plate, unit and client), Units to check (damaged, test expired, being cleaned, in repair with the reason) and Tanks (product and how full each one is). Click a line to fly to it.
The reach stacker on the scene shows Working while it carries a unit and Waiting otherwise.
Figure 2 What turns into a pin and where it is listed. The attention list is the work queue; the pins show where on the yard that work stands.
Move around
Drag to turn the scene, scroll (or pinch) to zoom, drag with the right mouse button (or two fingers) to slide.
The buttons next to the figures do the same: Zoom in, Zoom out, Turn left, Turn right, and Back to the whole site.
Find and look at something
Click a unit, a tank, a truck or a zone or type in the search box (press / anywhere on the page to jump there): a unit number, a tank code, a truck plate, a trip number, a zone name. If nothing matches: Nothing found on this site.
The scene flies to it and a card opens on the right with what matters:
a unit: kind, position, Loaded / Empty, Clean / Dirty, Damaged and On hold chips, tests (In order, due soon, or Test expired) and owner;
a storage tank: product, level, fill percentage with its bar, capacity, safe fill limit, temperature, and a flame when it is heated;
a truck: trip, driver, client, unit, pick-up or delivery, and planned time;
a zone: its kind and the units in it.
Click Open the details for the full card, with its own buttons. Press Esc or the cross to close.
Watch the shift
Open Live 3D on the control-room screen at the start of the shift and leave it on the site.
Work the Gate tab against Truck tracking: a truck that stays at On the road past its ETA is a late arrival to chase with the haulier; a truck At the gate is waiting for the gate clerk.
Work Units to check from the top: damaged units go to M&R, units with an expired test should not be released for loading until the periodic inspection is done, units in cleaning or repair should come back to available.
Watch the Tanks tab during receipts: a red bar means the tank is close to its safe fill limit; stop or divert the receipt before the high-level alarm.
Controls and exceptions
The scene is built from the site's yard plan: draw the zones on the plan (see Sites) and they appear here stacks, roads, the gate, halls, cleaning and repair sheds, the tank farm, rail tracks and quays.
Changes appear within one refresh interval: the same Live view refresh (seconds) as the live yard on the site page, set in Settings (2 to 60 seconds, default 5).
If the browser cannot show 3D graphics, a message says so: This browser cannot show 3D graphics. The 2D live view on the site page shows the same yard.
On a phone the figures, the list and the card fit the screen; turn the phone sideways for more room.
If the scene and the ground disagree, the ledger is wrong, not the drawing: correct the position with a Move, or run a Yard check.
For the manager
Yard occupancy and Tank farm fill are your two capacity gauges for the site; in / out today is the day's gate throughput as it builds up.
Trucks today against at the gate shows queueing at the gate; combine it with Gate appointments to spread arrivals.
The length of Units to check is a quick M&R and compliance backlog indicator: damaged units and expired tests are equipment you cannot release.
Trend figures (throughput per day, dwell, fill over time) are not kept here; use Throughput and Reports.
Glossary
Movement ledger
The record of every gate in, gate out, yard move and tank operation; the only source Live 3D reads.
Refresh interval
How often the screen asks for new movements (Live view refresh, 2–60 s).
Yard occupancy
Units on site divided by the slot capacity of the container stacks.
Tank farm fill
Sum of tank levels divided by sum of tank capacities on the site.
Safe fill limit
The maximum fill percentage set on a storage tank; Live 3D warns from 3 points below it.
Periodic test
The 2.5-year and 5-year inspection of a tank container; with the CSC date, an expired one puts the unit on Units to check.
Hold
A customs, line, payment or damage stop on a unit; it may not leave while the hold is open.
Reach stacker
The yard handling machine shown carrying units on moves.
ETA
The planned time of the truck's stop at this site.
Trip
A truck's planned journey in the Transport module, with its stops and events.
