Cloud Infrastructure is installed like every other NIZU App, from inside your workspace. You need to be an administrator.
After activation, Cloud Infrastructure appears in the left menu under Infrastructure, and a settings page appears under Settings → Apps.
Go to Settings → Roles and open each role that should use the App. Cloud Infrastructure adds its own permission group: view assets, add and edit assets, move assets to trash, view costs and reports, post costs to expenses, manage relationships, run provider sync, and access the settings. Administrators have everything without ticking anything.
Open Settings → Apps → Cloud Infrastructure and set the default currency, the number of days of notice for renewals, the default expense category and tax used when posting costs, and whether the client portal is switched on. It is off by default.
Provider sync and cost reconciliation both use the Providers App. Install it and add your hosting providers there. Then open Cloud Infrastructure → Provider sync and click Credentials on each provider to choose its API and paste its token. "Hetzner", "DigitalOcean", "Vultr", "Linode" or "Infomaniak" in the provider's name is detected automatically; otherwise pick the API from the list.
Updates are applied like any other App. The installer runs again on update and adds any new columns the newer version needs without touching your data.
