Appointments: the public booking page, the appointment page and the payment page now follow the visitor's device: a phone in dark mode gets a dark page, a laptop in light mode a light one, switching live when the device switches. Text is never black on a dark background nor white on a light one.
Appointments: Settings → Booking page → "Look of the booking page" lets an admin choose light/dark behaviour (follow the device, always light, always dark), the background (theme gradient, one colour or a picture under a soft veil) and a logo for the page, with a separate logo for dark mode. A dark background colour switches the page to light text on its own.
Appointments: a service can now have its own icon. The service form opens a picker with a grid of suggestions and a plain search, no code to type, and the icon replaces the lightning symbol next to the service name on the public booking page and shows in the services list.
Updates
Icon picker (Settings → Left menu, Help and Knowledge base categories, Appointments services): the dialog now opens on a grid of suggested icons instead of an empty box, the search field asks for a plain word (tooth, car, scissors) instead of a code, and the icon currently chosen is highlighted in the grid.
Appointments: the public pages are restyled in the iOS 26 liquid-glass look, one translucent sheet with pill buttons, glass fields, a clearer calendar and time slots, and the brand colour chooses a readable ink for its buttons whatever shade it is.
Appointments: the public pages use the device's own font and no longer load a font from Google, so they open faster and send nothing to a third party.
Appointments: on a phone the booking page opens on the services and the calendar becomes the body of the "date and time" step, above the free times, so choosing a day and an hour is one screen. Every day, time and button is at least 44px tall, the continue button stays at the thumb, and the page respects the notch and home-indicator areas.
Appointments: the phone's address bar takes the colour of the booking page in light and in dark, and keyboard users get a visible focus ring on every control.
Appointments: the public booking pages no longer load a style library from an external server. They open with their layout ready instead of flashing unstyled for a moment, work without third-party access, and send nothing to anyone else.
Appointments: the "date and time" step now says "Pick a day, then one of the free times" instead of pointing to a calendar "on the left", which was wrong on a phone.
Appointments: until a provider is chosen, the calendar is announced as disabled to screen readers instead of only looking greyed out.
Appointments: the booking page shows a four-segment progress bar that fills as the visitor advances and turns green on confirmation, and steps slide in from the right going forward and from the left going back, like an iOS navigation. Motion is off for visitors who asked their device to reduce it.
Appointments: the Look settings show a live preview of the top of the booking page on a light and on a dark device, updating as a colour, picture or logo is chosen, before anything is saved.
Fix
Appointments: the "view appointment" button on the booking confirmation showed no icon; "Print" and "Current status" on the appointment page are now translated.
Appointments: the "Choose file" buttons of the Look settings were white in dark mode; they now follow the theme.
Appointments: on the booking confirmation a stray piece of code was printed next to the "Copy" button, and a service whose title contains an apostrophe could break the service list. Both fixed.
Public pages: prices and other secondary text on the Store were shown at 60% opacity, which made them hard to read; they now use the full secondary colour. The "back" links on the booking page no longer fade on hover for the same reason.
Public pages and Appointments: choosing "Picture" as the background and uploading the picture in the same save fell back to the default background; the picture was stored but not used until the settings were saved a second time. Fixed for both the public pages (Settings → Appearance) and the booking page.
