The dashboard you start on can now be edited. The dashboard menu (the … button in the dashboard bar) has an Edit dashboard entry on the standard dashboard. Because the standard one is the same for everybody, the first edit makes a copy of it for you — with exactly the widgets you are looking at — and opens it in the dashboard editor. Nobody else's dashboard changes, and from then on it is your dashboard, so the usual Edit, Rename and Delete options apply.
Client acquisition chart on Clients → Overview. It draws your running client total month by month, with the clients gained in each month behind it, so you can see how the business grew rather than only where it stands today. A client counts from the day it was created, or from the day its lead was converted. Pick the last 12 months, the last 24, or all time — the chart redraws instantly. Clients with no recorded start date (older imports, usually) are counted in the opening total and the chart says how many there are.
Every list is now a proper list on a phone. Below 800px a table is no longer a squeezed spreadsheet: each record is one row with the name on the first line, a second line underneath it (usually the date), the figure or status on the right, and a picture on the left where there is one — three things, never more. A long name is shortened with an ellipsis rather than wrapping, so every row stays the same height. Tap the row and it opens underneath as a card with the rest of that record's details and its buttons (edit, delete, and the row menu), so anything you can do at your desk you can do on the phone. Because the column headings are gone, a sort control above the list lets you sort by any column. Invoices, Clients, Projects, Leads, Tickets and the other big lists keep tapping straight through to the record as before, and simply gain the same look.
Updates
The dashboard rings are now three-dimensional. Income vs Expenses, Leads Overview, All Tasks Overview, My Tasks Overview and Task Status all draw an isometric ring instead of the flat circle: each part is named beside the chart with its share and its figure when there is room, the total (or the profit, or the loss) is written in the middle, and hovering a part shows its exact figure. On a narrow card the shares move onto the ring itself so nothing is cut off, and every ring follows dark mode.
Clients → Overview has been rebuilt in the same style as the main dashboard. The panels are now grouped by what they ask you to do: Your client base first, then Needs your attention — overdue, unpaid and partially paid invoices, open tickets and new orders, most urgent first — and finally Sales and delivery, following a client from an open proposal through an estimate to a project in progress. Each group carries a heading saying what it is for.
The screen icon in the top bar, which opened a list of your dashboards, has been removed. Dashboards are switched from the coloured dots in the dashboard bar, which already show which one you are on. The matching “hide this from the top bar” option has been removed from account settings.
The Projects, Estimates and Proposals panels on that screen now read as a list you can tap straight through to the matching client list, they keep their colours in dark mode, and every icon on the screen is a Font Awesome one.
Fix
On Clients → Overview, the “% of total clients” shown under the unpaid, partially paid, overdue and new-order panels was measured against every client in the workspace, even for a team member who is only allowed to see their own clients. It is now measured against the clients that person can actually see, so the share matches the count beside it.
The two “Contacts logged in” panels on that screen linked to the clients list instead of the contacts list when opened in a new tab.
Settings → Client portal → Dashboard failed to open with an error. The preview now loads again, and it no longer shows the dashboard navigation bar on top of it — that bar switches between your dashboards, which is not what you are editing on that screen.
