Clients now hold bank details: an IBAN and a BIC field sit alongside the VAT and GST numbers on the client record.
Your team can fill in a client's IBAN and BIC from the client form, and clients can maintain their own from the Company Info tab of their portal.
Settings → Clients has a new "Collect bank details on signup" option that adds optional IBAN and BIC fields to the client signup form. It is off by default.
Onboarding App: a new "Collect bank details" setting adds optional IBAN and BIC fields to the company step of the wizard, and saves them on the client created at the end of the flow. It is off by default.
The client import now accepts IBAN and BIC columns, and the downloadable sample file includes them. Both columns are optional, and spreadsheets made before this release keep importing unchanged.
Updates
A client's IBAN and BIC are shown on the client profile whenever they have been filled in.
Bank details are stored in the standard electronic format, so spaces and lower-case letters typed into the form are cleaned up automatically.
The GDPR data export of a client now includes their bank details.
The "Download sample file" templates on every import screen are now delivered with the platform itself instead of from workspace storage, so the download can no longer go missing on a workspace.
