From the estimate you create the invoice with every line already in it, and the project that will deliver it. ### Create the invoice 1. Open the accepted estimate. 2. In the **Estimate info** card, open the "..." menu and click **Create Invoice**. 3. The invoice form opens with the client, today's dates, the taxes, the discount and the note filled in. **Include all items of this estimate** is ticked, so every line is copied. 4. Adjust the dates if needed and click **Save**. The invoice keeps a link to the estimate it came from. You need access to Invoices to see this option. ### Create the project 1. In the same menu, click **Create project**. 2. The normal project form opens. Fill it in and save: the project is linked to the estimate and shown in its Estimate info card. The option is only offered while no project is linked yet, and only to people who may create projects. #### Create projects automatically In **Settings → Estimates**, switch on **Create new projects automatically when estimates gets accepted**. The project is named after the estimate number, starts on the estimate date and ends on Valid until. **Good to know:** the automatic project is made when you mark the estimate accepted yourself, or when the client accepts it in the portal without a signature. When the client accepts from the public link, with a signature, or through NIZU Sign, use **Create project** as above. ### The other way round You can also start an estimate from a **Proposal**, a **Contract** or an **Order**: their info menu has **Create Estimate**, which copies the client, taxes, discount and all items.
